Equilibrium (2002) by Kurt Wimmer (REVIEW)
Equilibrium is a phenomenal futuristic movie with good content and a notion of how humanity would look like when people would not feel anything, no emotions.
In this society there is a new class of forces called Clerics who are obliged to hunt down all those who do not take serum against feelings. The plot begins when Cleric John Preston (Christiane Bale) also ceases to take a serum and will begin to understand how to feel. He will slowly break down the entire system without anyone's help.
I've heard that there is a book and that the movie is directed by the book, but I have never seen it nor read it. I really liked the movie, it was very deep and brave so I may read the book for a better understanding even though the movie was very well explained and easy to understand, but people say that the book is always better than the movie.
