Devil (2010) by John Erick Dowdle (REVIEW)
Devil is a very interesting movie because it is filmed mostly in an elevator with a group of people. It is a one room set up movie with around 10 characters while the 5 of them have the main roles.
To give an honest review I will just say that this movie is about a group of five people that got stuck in elevator, it all goes as planned until some weird things start to appear. First of all they run of electricity for a while and the whole group is panicked. One of that group is a company security guy and he tries to calm down the rest four people who are shocked.
There is a camera and microphone in the elevator and the security company are aware of the problem and they try to calm down everyone while they are trying to communicate in one way or another to find a best solution and how to get them out of there unharmed.
Everything seems to work as planned until suddenly one of the group is murdered. After that everyone starts to panic and they blame each other for the murder, the group has main suspect that likely is the murdered, but things are going to even end up way worse than that.
Without revealing much, I think this is an honest short review. The end is very, very good, it opens a discussion about religion and other moral values in humanity.
