My Steem Box Project 1.1
Here we are steemian and vapers, the 1.1 3d project is made!

Alright guys, something is changed.
Thinking about waht @viruk said on the last post i decided to add the possibilty to remove the bf bottle and add a second battery.
In this way we will be able to moun a second 18650 battery and also a DNA 200.
Also the shape is changed it will be more compact and portable!
So please guys let me know what you think about this 1.1 3d!

I was thinking about the battery options with limited space and I do think a lipo pack could work better in the small space than a pair of 18650s.
I haven't considered the cost differential, but a lipo pack will handle a higher power draw. On the DNA 250C board, you can only get the peak 400W when using a lipo pack, three 18650s give you 300W max and 2 18650s give you 200W max.
How hard would it be to tweak the design to accomodate that instead?

I'll surely do it but i dont understand the utility of 400w, for me it would be impossible to vape a that wattage.
I have to agree with you there - I vape on a pre-heat of up to 150w and it only has that high a wattage for the first second to get the coil up to temperature. My point in illustrating those figures was that the LIPO packs can handle more amperage than 18650s so theres better safety there.
