Metallic Mandala. Monarch Butterfly

Greetings dear community, welcome to my art blog, how are you all? I hope well, today I bring you another drawing from the section I like to call "Send them metallic". The figure I chose to design in this post, is one of the most beautiful butterflies there is, the monarch butterfly and it's actually my favorite of all. Mandalas usually have beautifully elaborated and intricate designs, but in this case I wanted to make the drawing as faithful as possible to the structure and anatomy of the monarch, since by using the metallic effect I didn't want to lose the essence of this butterfly and that it would be easily recognizable by everyone, even though it has a simpler shape, a quite elegant and refined effect was achieved. Many times the simple models are the most successful. Now tell me guys, did you like the drawing as much as I did? Here I share with you the development of this "Metallic Mandala". Saludos querida comunidad, sean bienvenidos a mi blog de arte, ¿cómo están todos? Espero que bien, hoy les traigo otro dibujo de la sección que me gusta llamar “Mándalas metalizadas”. La figura que elegí para diseñar en este post, se trata de una de las mariposas más hermosas que hay, la mariposa monarca y en realidad es mi favorita de entre todas. Las mándalas suelen tener diseños hermosamente elaborados e intricados, pero en este caso quise realizar el dibujo lo más fiel a la estructura y anatomía de la monarca, ya que al usar el efecto metalizado no quería perder la esencia de esta mariposa y que fuese fácilmente reconocible por todos, aun así a pesar de poseer una forma más sencilla, se logró obtener un efecto bastante elegante y refinado. Muchas veces los modelos simples suelen ser los más acertados. Ahora díganme chicos ¿Les gusto el dibujo tanto como a mí? A continuación, les comparto el desarrollo de esta “Mándala Metalizada”. The tools I used for the drawing were the following:

• Android tablet.
• Capacitive pen (Stylus).
• Ibis Paint X program.
• Brushes: Pencil, Airbrush, Fuzzy, Marker.
