Principles For A Life Of Blessing

in #steemchurch8 years ago (edited)

It is important to live in every moment of our lives at the hand of God, and in this way the blessing is received moment by moment, (day after day - month after month - year after year).

Matthew 6: 34

So, do not worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will bring your eagerness. Sufficient to each day its own evil.

We must live fully today, every moment of our lives.
• The past (yesterday) brings anguish.
• The future (tomorrow) brings anxiety.

HOW TO LIVE TO HAVE BLESSING IN OUR LIVES?

The answer should be sought in the Word of God, let's see in Proverbs:

Proverbs 3: 1-4

My son, do not forget my law, and your heart keep my commandments;
because length of days and years of life and peace will increase you. Mercy and truth never depart from you; bind them to your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart; and you will find grace and good opinion in the eyes of God and of men.

These four verses of Proverbs give us the basis for my own life. Living in this way will bring us the grace of God over our lives.

Proverbs 23: 7

  1. Because what is the thought in your heart, such is he. Eat and drink will tell you; But his heart is not with you.

How is the heart, such is the man = THAT'S WHY WE SHOULD CARE FOR THE HEART.
God is a God of principles: He submits to his principles, to his Word.

In the following record, there are four principles that are the basis and cover all areas of our life.

Proverbs 3: 5-10

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own prudence. Acknowledge him in all your ways, and he will straighten your paths. Do not be wise in your own opinion; fear Jehovah and turn away from evil; because it will be medicine to your body, and refreshment for your bones. Honor Jehovah with your goods, and with the first fruits of all your fruits;
and your barns shall be filled with plenty, and your vats shall overflow with new wine.

God is a God of blessing for all.
In the book of Malachi he says: "I am the same as always."

It is important to live in every moment of our lives at the hand of God, and in this way the blessing is received moment by moment, (day after day - month after month - year after year)

Matthew 6: 34

In the following record, there are four principles that are the basis and cover all areas of our life.

Proverbs 3: 5-10
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own prudence. Acknowledge him in all your ways, and he will straighten your paths. Do not be wise in your own opinion; fear Jehovah and turn away from evil; because it will be medicine to your body, and refreshment for your bones. Honor Jehovah with your goods, and with the first fruits of all your fruits;
and your barns shall be filled with plenty, and your vats shall overflow with new wine.

God is a God of blessing for all.

LET'S SEE THE PRINCIPLES THAT BRING US BLESSING:

1-TRUST

Proverbs 3: 5

  1. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own prudence.

Where do I deposit my confidence? We have to put our trust in the Lord. Trust has to do with the interior of man: inside me, I must raise my heart to God and trust him.

Psalm 37: 5

  1. Commit your way to Jehovah, and trust in him; and he will do.

James 1: 8

  1. The double-minded man is inconstant in all his ways.

The inconstancy does not bring profit.

Philippians 4:19

  1. My God, then, will supply everything you lack according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Trust in God at all times. We must raise my heart to God and He will supply what we lack.

2- RECOGNITION

Proverbs 3: 6

  1. Recognize him in all his ways, and he will straighten your paths.

Recognize God in all areas of my life (not just some).
Recognition has to do with being and has to do with the exterior of man. Recognize God in all my ways, in all areas of my life and, in this way, God is going to straighten all my paths.

RECOGNIZING IS KNOWING FOR EXPERIENCE.

If there is no action there is no recognition, and if there is no recognition there are no straightened paths.

Hebrews 11: 6

  1. But without faith it is impossible to please God; for it is necessary that he who comes to God believes that he is, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.

• Recognize that He exists.
• God rewards those who believe with the best.
• He will solve any situation.

God will always guide us on what path to take.

3- REVERENCE

Proverbs 3: 7-8

  1. Do not be wise in your own opinion; fear the Lord, and depart from evil; 8) Because it will be medicine to your body, and refreshment for your bones.

TEMER = RESPECT

Respect and reverence God and get away from evil.
We must understand and value their love, the greatness of their love in our lives.
In these verses there is a promise of healing (medicine to your body and refreshment for your bones).

4- HONOR IT

Proverbs 3: 9-10

  1. Honor Jehovah with your goods, and with the first fruits of all your fruits; and your barns shall be filled with plenty, and your vats shall overflow with new wine.

If we honor God (as the verse says), there is a promise of prosperity and abundance.
I must honor God in my heart with my first fruits.
What is first fruits ?: The best of me, the best thing I do, is for GOD.

We must trust in his prosperity, trust that God is my sufficiency, I have to know that he will supply me, he will bless me.

RECOGNIZE THAT HE IS MY SUFFICIENCY.

Luke 6: 38

  1. Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, tight, shaken and overflowing will give in your lap; because with the same measure with which you measure, they will measure you again.

Important principle: give and it will be given to you.

APPLYING THESE PRINCIPLES DAY BY DAY

Proverbs 3: 5 FATE = CONFIDENCE

Proverbs 3: 6 RECOGNIZED = RECOGNITION

Proverbs 3: 7 FEAR JEHOVAH = RESPECT - REVERENCE

Proverbs 3: 8 HONOR JEHOVAH = HONRA

Each of these principles is built on the other: it is like a staircase. These four principles cover the whole aspect of a believer's life so that God can bless every day, every moment.
