Chriastian-trail: A letter for you
You Belong
Because by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, we have all been called to drink in one Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12:12
What is your vocation? What gifts has God given you that He wants you to use for the Kingdom?
If you are struggling with the idea of having a vocation, I want to reassure you. Your call in life does not have to be something great like moving to Africa to feed the hungry, and you are not limited to a single call in life.
We often overcomplicate this idea of being called, but all it really means is that the Holy Spirit enables you to play a part (or several parts) as a member of the body of Christ. It is one of the benefits that it provides.
All of us have the need to feel that we belong. No matter what your gifts are, you belong ... to the body of Christ. No part is more important than another. The gifts you possess could allow you to be a pastor, be on a worship team or pray for others. On the other hand, you could be a great businessman and collaborate in the financing of the Gospel, you could be good baking the best cakes, be amazing in gardening or have a gift to make people laugh. Each contribution is equally important!
Your Father God has placed gifts in you for a reason, and you can make the decision to continually develop your skills in that area, and use those gifts for the benefit of the Kingdom.
Thank you for reading this short letter, I wish with my heart that God will shine His Face in your life.
