Vespa raduno 1° parte - Vespa reunion 1st part [ITA-ENG]

Ciao a tutti,
oggi vi vorrei parlare di uno dei miglior raduni di Vespa a cui ho partecipato:
“Raduno Nazionale Vespa Club Salò del 2011”

Hi everyone,
Today I would like to talk about one of the best rallies in Vespa I attended:
“Raduno Nazionale Vespa Club Salò of 2011”

Sono passati ormai parecchi anni ma l’esperienza che ho vissuto quel giorno, non la dimenticherò mai.
Sveglia alle 5:30 di mattina, colazione leggera, preparazione di rito e alle 6:00 ritrovo in piazza con gli altri bikers.

Several years have passed by now, but the experience I experienced that day, I will never forget it.
Alarm clock at 5:30 in the morning, light breakfast, ritual preparation and 6:00 am meeting in the square with other bikers.

Era la prima settimana di Ottobre e faceva un freddo pazzesco; mi ricordo che ho messo addosso il doppio di tutto (pantaloni, felpa, maglietta, calzini, ecc).
Il raduno distava circa 70 km, ma in Vespa, con quel freddo e usando strade normali, siamo riusciti a farla diventare un’impresa epica.
Circa 2 ore e mezza di strada calcolando che ogni 20 km ci dovevamo fermare per scaldarci. ;(
Arrivati a Salò, ci siamo iscritti alla manifestazione e ci siamo diretti a fare colazione nel frattempo che il raduno partiva; penso che quella mattina era la 3°/4° colazione.... Ahahah ;)

It was the first week of October and it was a crazy cold; I remember that I put twice as much of everything (trousers, sweatshirts, t-shirts, socks, etc.).
The rally was about 70 km away, but in Vespa, with that cold weather and using normal roads, we managed to make it an epic feat.
About 2.5 hours of road time, calculating that every 20 km we had to stop to warm up. ;(
When we arrived in Salò, we joined the event and we went for breakfast in the meantime that the meeting started; I think that morning was the 3rd/4th breakfast.... Ahahah ;)

La temperatura iniziava ad aumentare e noi, bikers virili, abbiamo iniziato a toglierci un pò di chili di guardaroba che avevamo addosso, per gustarci al meglio questo sole che iniziava a scaldarci l’animo e il corpo.
Il raduno iniziò e non immaginate neanche che spettacolo di giro ci hanno fatto fare questi bravissimi Bresciani.

The temperature was beginning to increase and we, virile bikers, started to take off some of the kilos of wardrobe we had on our wardrobe, to enjoy the best this sun that started to warm our soul and body.
The rally began and you don't even imagine that the tour shows made us do these very good Bresciani.

Era un continuo sali e scendi tra una montagna e l’altra, passando attraverso vie strette e con un panorama mozzafiato che si affacciava sul Lago di Garda.

It was a continuous ascent and descent between one mountain and the other, passing through narrow streets with a breathtaking view overlooking Lago di Garda.

Il giro completo durò circa 2 ore e nel mezzo c’è stata una sosta di mezz’ora in una azienda vinicola, dove abbiamo gustato del buon vino locale con deliziosi stuzzichini.

The complete tour lasted about 2 hours and in the middle there was a half hour stop in a winery, where we tasted some good local wine with delicious snacks.

La tappa finale consisteva nel raggiungere il Ristorante dove circa 400 persone si ritrovavano a pranzare e a condividere la passione per la Vespa, davanti a cibo di ogni genere e vino che scorreva a fiumi.
Calcolate che eravamo scortati dalle Forze dell’ordine e quindi ci hanno concesso qualche peccatuccio in più.

The final stop was to reach the restaurant where about 400 people gathered together to have lunch and share their passion for the Vespa, in front of food of every kind and wine flowing in rivers.
Calculate that we were escorted by the forces of law and order and so they allowed us some more sins.

Nella location era prevista anche un’area shopping dove si poteva comprare di tutto; dal portafoglio fino a delle sedie costruite con la struttura che richiamava una Vespa.

In the location there was also a shopping area where you could buy everything from the wallet to chairs built with the structure that recalled a Vespa.

Purtroppo le cose belle finiscono sempre e alle 17:00 ripartiamo per tornare a casa...... Dimenticavo, era calato il sole e quindi ci siamo ritrasformati come l’omino Michelin Ahah :)

Unfortunately the beautiful things always end up and at 17:00 we leave to go home......... Forget, the sun had fallen and so we turned back like the Michelin man Ahah :)
