This application is available for android devices.
It makes your phone become a realistic metal lighter just by clicking the download button on google app.
Pros:
- It is a free application.
- It requires a very low space on your device.
- The app has very realistic sounds and the graphics are very high.
- The app has also realistic moves of the fire.
- The app can be controled very easy using touchscreen.
Cons:
- It is available only on android devices.
- The app contains adds which might be annoying.

hey @lordoftruth I understand that this app itself may be new- but virtual lighter apps have been out since the first generation iphone, and to my knowledge are fairly generic (meaning one virtual lighter is pretty much the same concept as all the rest).
Is there something revolutionary I missed about this one in particular? I'm happy to take another look :)
To be completely honest, we don't even see the names of the hunters when we click to mod. Please don't boil this down to subjectivity as I have absolutely nothing against you personally. Just trying to follow the guidelines to the best of my ability.
It is possible that it would have been a better choice to delist under the "cool" PG instead of (or in addition to) "new"- but the fact remains this type of app is a generic style of app that's been around for over 10 years.
In Steemhunt, the coolness is decided by hunter’s upvotes. If many people think that a product is really cool, then the ranking is likely to be higher than other products. However, all products that are hunted in the first place should be somewhat cooler than other products. When a hunter decides to introduce the product to our community, it must not be a generic product. It should have some killer features that make people say “wow.” If your product is considered to be ordinary, the moderators may hide your hunt.

I have checked your hunt, @lordoftruth. Virtual lighters are a generic product category which isn’t novel at all anymore.
It isn’t because it is an app that Steemhunt needs to approve it for its ranking board.
Steemhunt is about discovery of cool and new products. Things our users may not yet know about.
If the “similar apps” view on the Play store is longer than I wish to scroll pre-morning coffee then any mod can reject it.
As such our posting guidelines aren’t mutually exclusive but they can be applied mutually exclusively if a product isn’t a fit and doesn’t conform with new/cool/novel.
Steemhunters see new things every day. A virtual lighter app isn’t new. That’s a very strong and virtually hot reason to reject. Because it is a product category which stopped being fun latest in 2009.
Please, may I request that you first try to understand what Steemhunt is, what the spirit of Steemhunt is before you start throwing things like subjectivity etc round? That does not reflect well on you, tbh. You can do better.
Kindly be informed, I read it well and I understood the spirit of Steemhunt and I respect your point of view.
But I can not agree with you anymore because the "cool & new" can be subjective and the standard can be different for each moderator as there's no clear definition on it.

We accept that. We are a young process but disagreeing over an app category which is around a decade old is kind of futile.
Many of those apps are renewed yearly so they get again traction via aggregators.
We have to draw the line somewhere.
That somewhere is more often common sense than personal subjectivity.
I hope to see that your next hunt - if ever, that’s a personal choice - will be a stellar hunt for a modern product.
May I refer you to the post I recently wrote, earlier this week as new as my most recent post to get an understanding of how we moderate.
That is a process in evolution and it will always be a constantly evolving process. As a young team it is night impossible to make a list of 357 gazillion too generic apps/products and expect that everyone knows them.
That does require the will to understand tho. Because, especially given how Steemhunt seems to have 3-4 days seasons in which many submit similar apps... we do not really care about “similar apps longer than two pages”. And we will become always stricter in that.
As such... Steemhunt is about new products, not a database for every possible product.
If you understand Steemhunt then you also should understand that.
Sorry... virtual lighter apps are not cool anymore since latest 2009. Prank apps are a waste of time as well.
