Took a break from the platform the other day
This is the point where I expect everyone to sympathize with me, as it is a known fact that I can't live without my desktop. Well guess what? I can't take my desktop everywhere I go with me either. No, I don't like laptops. Next question.
Phew, I feel a lot better after ranting a bit. Anyway, I was going to say how I needed a break and I thankfully got it, however I realized that I actually enjoy this process right here so much. This is one of the main reasons why Steemit has become a huge part of my life these days; I'm having so much fun here. Feels like this is the place to relax for me.
Okay, the title might be a little misleading. I was still logged in on my cell phone, however I was just an observer. Scrolling down my home page and reading stuff without saying a word. I have to admit this was pretty hard for me. On a serious note though, I took a 3 day break from the Steem/Discord Universe because I visited a beautiful greek island situated only a couple hours away from my house. The perfect place for a short trip.
This is also the perfect place for relaxation mainly due to the fact that this island is not a very popular destination in Greece. Peace and silence all over the place. Delicious food, fresh air, crystal clear water; all I needed. And still do need. I will definitely spend four more days on this island within the next two weeks. Unfortunately I did not enjoy this trip to the fullest as I have a severe back problem which ruined my days on the island. Now I'm going to receive some injections as I can't keep living with this, hopefully I will get rid of this terrible back of mine that way.
What a majestic creature by the way! Looks like she's been visiting the hairdresser quite frequently. For some reason I believe most ladies would be jealous of that girl's perfect, long hair. I'm jealous myself. Oh, I just realized I never told you the name of the island but then I remembered I did it on purpose. If anyone of you can guess, let me know and I will happily confirm that I visited Kea island!

Don't know what the injections are, some kind of steroid? Be careful about over-exerting yourself even if they help you feel better faster, back injuries take longer than one might think to fully heal.
Always a good idea to unplug every once in a while. The island looks amazing, I hope you have a nice pain-free rest of your vacation there!

Sometimes we are forced to take a break. My forced break was due to no electricity for 22 hrs. It was pleasant not hearing the noise of the TV or going onto the computer . Even the cell phone couldn't bother me as the battery was flat!! My laptop was also flat, so I decided to check out the bookcase and read a book. It was a nice change.

It is very beautiful on this island. It is good for you if you go here, lie on your stomach in the beach or swim in the sea. When sitting in front of the desk, I think, you can easily get back pain. You can also try it with back training. I've already seen that there are videos on youtube

You can also ask someone you know if someone is massaging your back, which is also good for your back. But you probably already know that yourself.
