New Music Alert - All Na Packaging

Today I released my new song ‘All Na Packaging’ on soundcloud and audiomack. I am nervous and excited; nervous because I don’t know how it will be received and I’m supposed to perform it in front of a live audience in a few hours (first ever performance by the way), and excited because I like the way the song turned out.

The production on this song is the best I’ve had so far, and it came out close to the way I envisioned it in my head. Every other song I’ve done thus far have not been the same, something always sounds off and I end up feeling I did a shitty job (even though I get a number of positive reviews).

As the title suggests it’s a song about how people appear to be more than they are sometimes. To the readers who don’t understand pidgin ‘All Na Packaging’ translates to ‘It’s all packaging’.

You see a guy in a nice suit and you think he has some white collar job, but in reality he’s broke and that’s the suit he wore on graduation. A girl pulls up at a fast food joint in a Mercedes looking fresher than mint on a cold winter morning, she gets her food and leaves, you think she’s some rich independent chick, but the car belongs to her brother and she was just running errands for him.

You catch the drift yeah; same way small companies try to imitate big companies to make people think they’re bigger than they are. Last Last all na packaging.

Ladies are masters of the art as makeup becomes a universal deceiver. But in the end everyone has to package one way or the other because as humans we always try to cover up our inadequacies.
