Trains And Rails, Camera and Lights
If I tell you that last week was my first time fully seeing a train, would you believe me? Well, sure as hell it's true. I've never set my eyes on a train until last December.
I spent most of my early years in the southern part of Nigeria mostly Uyo where you only see a train or railway in movies. Recently I moved to a new town in Abuja where the have a rail track passing through the community.
At first I was excited that I'm going to see a train for the first time but weeks went by I never had a chance to be at the rail track when a train is passing.
Then it finally came, I was out on Sunday sitting by the tracks waiting patiently for it to come and I took a few of these shots.
And
And this
Well, now that have accomplish that, my next goal will be to travel in one. When I was making plans to attend Steemfest in November, I planned to travelled first to Italy and then use a train through Europe to Poland. That definitely didn't come to pass, so it's still in the to-do list for this year to travel in a train?
Do forgive my photography skills. Have you travelled in a train before? What was the experience like.
I saw one in Ibadan... We could plan to travel to Kaduna by train for wafrica curators meetup this year... I heard the first class ticket is worth it

Should I say congrats? Well at least you have seen one. The operational from minna through to Ilorin and other northern states. Hope Nigeria government fixes more of our rail ways so as to reduce traffic jam on our high ways and also the accident rate.
