CHANGE THE WORLD, ONE MEAL A DAY

Today is one of the happiest days of my life. Just three weeks on Steemit I already have a platform to help change the world. 8 days ago, @damarth started the ONE MEAL A DAY CAMPAIGN to help provide a meal through his upvotes to those who cannot actually afford a meal.

Since I could provide my own meal, I quickly realised that those who truly need a meal might not have access to the internet. So, I moved in to serve as a ground soldier in making sure the meals get distributed on the ground to those who truly needs it in my locality.
Yesterday and today I received a total payout of 4.513sbd through @damarth upvotes for the campaign. Where I stay right now is a small village in Akwanga, northern Nigeria. At present rate of sbd to Naira, one meal cost about 0.3sbd meaning I can provide a meal for about 15 people.
Today I helped pay for meals for 4 people (they were street beggars) and also helped an elderly man who had difficulty working long distance to get transported back home and gets basic medication for pains. You needed to see the tears of joy from these faces. Thank you @damarth, someone had a meal today because of you.
This is the vision of @damarth, I am proud to be a ground soldier, to dedicate one hour a day in ensuring that the meals gets distributed on the ground. I am helping change the world one meal at a time. Are you?
