WHEN DREAMS FALL APART
Sometimes, our dreams don't work out the way we choose, making us feel seemingly like failures. Sometimes, our dreams fall apart, broken and shattered so sudden, making our daily life a shadow and a camouflage of knowledge, ability and courage. Sometimes, we are far from our dreams like the distance between yesterday and tomorrow, making us tempted to think that life is not fair. Sometimes, we look back pitifully at where we could have been but for unavailable surrounding privileges.
The feeling of disconnection becomes overwhelming. You’re terrified of what might happen if you allow yourself to pursue your dream. You’re tempted to turn around and go back to the lie you’ve been living where it’s ironically easy, convenient and less demanding - survival of the fittest. Every day there’s something in your life that doesn’t work out the way you wanted it to. You can let those circumstances make or break you and too often we’re broken.
Dreams are like stars; we may be far from it but if we follow them, they'll surely lead us to our destinations. Despite what you’re going through and despite where you are, don't give up on your dream. Live your dream!
