WOS Wrestling: Episode Six
Episode Six sees grudge matches, title defences and the crowning of the first WOS tag team champions.
The first match of the day sees fan favourite British Bulldog Jr. take on Rampage for the WOS championship, and as ever the champs accompanied by Sha Samuels andCJ Banks. Once again Samuels and Banks interfere, this time however it’s Bulldog injuring his knee that proves the decider. Following Rampage’s almost legitimate win the dastardly trio start squaring up to Bulldog, an outnumbered ass-whooping is sure to follow…that is until Justyn Sysum dashes into the ring.
Stu Bennett doesn’t take kindly to this mind, standing from his seat at the commentary desk, he declares that if Sysum wants to poke his nose in other people’s business then he can take on Banks & Samuels in the main event…and if he wins Bennett might give him another shot at the title.
During the first round of the tag team tournament, back in episode one, Martin Kirby abandoned his partner Joe Hendry. In episode three Hendry attempted to get his revenge when he locked horns with Kirby one on one, but after Kirby cheated to get the win a rematch was inevitable.
So Kirby can not claim an unfair victory once again the rematch has a submission stipulation, the winner must make his opponent tap out or pass out. Hendry enters the ring first, but when Kirby emerges his arm is in a sling. He then gives announcer Phil Seymour a piece of paper to read out…a sick note from his mum.
The final of the tag team tournament sees Iestyn Reese & Kip Sabian, aka Alphabad, take on Adam Maxted & Nathan Cruz. Despite being a heel team up to this point Cruz attempts to get the crowd behind their side, but when they fail to snag the titles Cruz turns on Maxted.
The Main Event sees Sysum take on Samuels and Banks, and Sysum pulling a pretty impressive move, especially for someone of his size. In one of his previous matches Sysum performed a spear from outside the ring, although he didn’t make it clean through the ropes, staging his toes, he hit his target. This time he not only nails it, but he jumps over Banks to do it.
