Tales from the Crypt Presents Bordello of Blood (1996)
Directed by Gilbert Adler. Starring Dennis Miller, Erika Eleniak, Corey Feldman, Angie Everhart, Chris Sarandon, Aubrey Morris, Phil Fondacaro, William Sadler, and the voice of John Kassir.

When her brother goes missing Katherine hires a private investigator to track him down. While on the trail Rafe discovers a funeral home which also acts as the secret entrance to a bordello of vampires, who feed on men looking for a good time.

The initial script was written by Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis during the seventies while the pair were students at USC Film School, the pair would later present it to John Milius (Conan the Barbarian, Red Dawn) who passed on the movie, but did hire them to write John Belushi movie 1941.

Apparently Dennis Miller was a nightmare to work with. At the time of filming Miller was also recording talk show Dennis Miller Live during the week, forcing the cast & crew to work weekends, having their days off during the week. He’d also insist on not doing coverage (where an actor reacts off-screen to the actor on screen) claiming he was too tired, presumably due to his schedule. Normally this would make things difficult for the other actors, but Miller would also improvise his lines, sometimes going completely off script.

Originally Bordello of Blood was intended to be the second instalment of a trilogy of Tales from the Crypt movies, following Demon Night (1995), but because of poor ticket sales the third movie was scraped. It didn’t help that the studio decided to release it in August.
