Some Good News To Share!
Thanks to @lyndsaybowes and @hendrix22 for starting this "feel good" channel!
In short, I got a raise and promotion. I will be the Designated Charge Nurse beginning January 2!
I have one of the most amazing nursing jobs in America. I live in a rural, under-served community where the hospital staff is often related to the patients we care for. We all have to cross train, so I am one of the few male nurses who regularly does OB rotations. I have actually helped save the lives of babies of members of my community - that is incredibly satisfying.
When @fishyculture and I "red pilled" in 2007 we were "living the American dream" and it was killing us and numbing our relationship. We re-examined everything about the way we lived, and now the abundance of our lives is growing daily. We live a simple life with the ability to survive some pretty dire circumstances, yet have riches beyond imagination in love, health and joy.
What is really exciting (for me) about it is it will mean a fairly regular schedule! I will be able to plan things! Months in advance! Maybe even post on a regular basis! I have had a nearly totally random work schedule for ten years or more! This will make getting projects done around the homestead easier, which will give me my post topics. I am pretty pleased with the way this worked out, I have been getting pretty excited about steemit but had almost no time to devote to growing my account. I will starting with the New Year!
I do not have a lot of fiat, but I still suspect I am either the richest poor man or the poorest rich man on the planet, and I don't really care which!

Thank you! We have really been enjoying steemit, but most of my "free time" has to be spent catching up chores around the place. The extra time to try to really get something going here is like an early Christmas present lol!
