🔲 HOW TO BECOME SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE?

What's up steemit! Hope you are all keeping well!

Being surrounded by a bunch of entrepreneurs everyday as well as a mass of students definitely brings up some interesting topics, one topic that frequently arises is how to become successful in life.

Focus on commitment not motivation.

Motivation often only lasts a few days and maybe even only hours. Commitment is when one is truly dedicated towards achieving goals. If you are fully committed motivation will always follow shortly behind to give you that little "kick in the ass"

Stop being nice to yourself.

Lets be real here for a second, when can you truly say you have taken full action and not achieved results? Granted taking action does not always bring the results we want that does not mean we can blame our circumstances. We all know we do this, we wait for the perfect time and the perfect excuse to make ourselves feel better about slacking. Guess what, your mother lied to you it is okay and sometimes even great to be hard on yourself!

Don't rely on others.

Do not expect steemit or anyone else to make you successful, only you can make yourself successful.

Get rid of distractions.

Meaningless things will always be in your way, especially the things that are easy that you are used to doing. Learn to prioritize and stop wasting precious time.

Plan.

Be aware of what your next 3 steps forward will be. Be aware of when, what and how! Also review each day at the end and ensure you completed the needed tasks.

Seek knowledge, not results

Don't focus on results, results are a reward not a focus! If you focus on your results your motivation will be unstable and drop the moment you face a struggle. Instead focus on the journey, gaining knowledge.

Make the journey fun

Taking it seriously is important don't get me wrong, but taking it too seriously will cause you to carry a serious heavy emotional weight.

Prevent burnout!

I cannot stress this enough, it is so easy to burn yourself out when you are very motivated. Set time aside to rest and live your life. Do not overwork yourself, then again don't make this an excuse to slack off! Keep trying to diversify your tasks and locations.
