What Is Steem Power?
Steem power is your based power at steemit,it determines your upvote value.
it's your bandwidth at steemit.
it's almost "steemit", if you gonna had 0 STEEM power at your wallet you will not be able to do nothing.
Why It Is Important?
as I said if you had 0 STEEM power on your wallet you will not be able to do nothing at steemit.STEEM power is just your account base,
when you just getting started you get 15-25 STEEM Power as delegation from steemit and 0.5 steem power (non-delegation).
why? because you can't get started without power.
you get this steem power delegation because they don't want to give you "free money" because 15 STEEM worth around 50-60$ and as you know, money is not free.
so you get this delegation to have steem power and not to get started with needing to buy with your own money steem-power to start at steemit.
How to power down / delegating power to others
I just mentioned this because alot of peoples want to get money so they power down their steem power or they delegate them power to bots to get rewards every day.but they don't know how to do it correctly.
first of all you need to leave at least 5 STEEM at your wallet to not broke your account,
i just did that aswell beacuse i didn't know how is steem power so effective at my account.
so it take me 7 days to get my steem power back from the delegation and i just lost 7 days at steemit,
i cannot upload any posts and not to vote to anyone or even comment.
so if you power down or delegate power leave at least 5 steem.
but i don't recommend it, i think you can earn more if you save your steem power and increase it more and more!
