Inktober 2019 Day 06 : Husky
It is October once again, and you know creative people what that means. Time to flex those creative minds and muscles and start doing the Inktober challenge. Before I start with my participation let me provide you the rules to this challenge so that you too can join
Inktober rules:
Make a drawing in ink (you can do a pencil under-drawing if you want).
Post it
Hashtag it with #inktober and #inktober2019
Repeat
The more and consistent you do it the better you become each day with your drawing skills. So what are you waiting for? Grab your pencil, pen and paper and start drawing according to the provided prompts below.
The theme for the 6th day of inktober is Husky . Very popular option I must say is the husky dog. Could be challenging to depict for other people but if I choose this dog it would save me time thinking.
How I made it
Pencil drawing. I was looking at a reference photo online when I made this just so I got the shape right.
Inking the silhouette and shading. I no longer have the reference photo at this point. Kind of guessing where the light and dark areas are.
Few more strokes to further define the fur of the husky dog. I particularly enjoyed darkening the tail and head area. It was really fun and therapeutic.
Thank you for reading this blog. Catch you again later. Steem on and be creative.
