What to do in South-Norway

I have been travelling to this destination recently a couple of times in my job. At first glance the picture may not look like much you would say, but instead of posting 10 different pictures, i was trying to find a nice spot combining many of the elements that i like in this area.

It may look like the ocean, but this picture is actually taken around 200 meters (700 ft) above sea level. Its in the middle of South Norway. The pier you can see to the right is actually for boats the locals use for fishing and water sports. The village is surrounded by majestic looking mountains as you see in the picture, and dottet around the landscape you find local farm buildings dating back to the 17th century. Still intact (!).

If you want to have a glimpse into the middle ages in Norway, this is the spot. This is where you start.
