My Actifit Report Card: May 09 2024

For my last walk, I traveled to the picturesque village of Bibury in the Cotswolds. It was a beautiful sunny day, perfect for exploring the charming streets and countryside. As I wandered through the village, I was struck by the quaint honey-colored stone cottages that lined the streets, some dating back to the 17th century.

I made my way to the famous Arlington Row, a row of weaver's cottages that are now one of the most photographed sights in the Cotswolds. The row of cottages, with their steeply pitched roofs and tiny windows, looked like something out of a storybook.

I also visited the scenic Bibury Trout Farm, where I saw the crystal-clear waters of the trout farms and watched as visitors tried their hand at catching their own fish. It was a peaceful and idyllic spot to relax and take in the natural beauty of the area.

As I walked along the River Coln, I came across a friendly group of locals who were enjoying a picnic by the water. They were eager to share stories about the history of the village and recommended some hidden gems for me to explore on my next visit.

Overall, my walk in Bibury was a delightful experience filled with stunning scenery, friendly locals, and a rich history that made me appreciate the beauty of the English countryside even more.
