Intel Buys Artificial Intelligence Startup To Strengthen Their Technology

Intel is planning to significantly improve their artificial intelligence development by acquiring Nervana Systems.
Nervana Systems is a 3 year old startup, which is considered as one of the leaders in development of machine learning technology. They design a complete AI system to deal with deep learning, which emulates the work of neural networks in the brain.
The system is used for many different purposes such as analyzing seismic data finding, finding places for oil drilling or exploring plant genomes in search of new hybrids.
Intel has not disclosed the amount of the purchase.
