Game : Get the moon ...
Get the moon
Hello dears Steemians,
I will present you today a new game that I tested this weekend with my children and my husband. It's a new game of strategy that was released in stores in June 2017.
I was attracted by this game because in addition to being fun for adults and children, it is super well done in terms of aesthetics and it makes us dream.
It can be played from six years old. There can be between two and six players and it lasts about 20 minutes depending on the evolution of the game and the skill of the players.
Presentation of the game
The box is well designed, the various accessories are easily stored inside. This contains:
30 wooden ladders
1 base
7 wooden moon tears
1 die
1 rule of the game
You have to cross the clouds by nestling beautiful wooden ladders into each other to get to the moon ... We must place the few scales skillfully for them to hold, have a good sense of balance and the imagination.
You have to be very agile because the slightest mistake can make all the scales fall and prevent you from reaching the stars and picking up the moon.
Be careful, you must put the ladders with one hand.
If the posed scale falls or does not respect the imposed constraint, one must then recover a token "tear of moon". The game ends when the 7th “tear of moon” is shed. The player who retrieves the 7th tear of moon is automatically offside and the one who has the least wins.
The game features models of figures to inspire players and make them want to achieve pretty artistic configurations.
Goal of the game
Each turn, the players must place a ladder on the structure by respecting certain conditions: the ladder must touch exactly one or two scales depending on what the dice tells us (two scales are posed before the start of the game) or else, it must be placed at the top of the structure and be higher than all the other ladders already deposited previously. The player who drops one or more scales is eliminated.
This is the same principle as games with cubes or wooden rectangles to stack, like Djenga, but this game is more aesthetic and these scales can create more aerial and extraordinary structures.
It is a game of balance that allows the little ones to learn the fine psychomotricity and the older ones to relax enough to be able to drop their scales without trembling.
My children loved this game and me too, furthermore I love wooden objects and more precisely the old ladders. In addition, the idea of climbing to win the moon plunges us into a friendly story that makes us completely forget the daily time during a game.
