I remind you that I find these exercises in the book of Anne-Laure Jacquart, photographer.

She suggests in her book to do a challenge a week to finish the exercise book after one year and to give us the time to assimilate the exercise and exploit it to the maximum so that's what I intend to do also more or less according to the weeks, it is not a race, it is an apprenticeship of the different techniques, ideas, inspirations that can use an amateur photographer and in love with the beautiful images.

And the rest of the week I will practice taking pictures according to the exercise according to my inspiration. There is no point in forcing yourself, you have to want to take pictures otherwise the magic does not work.

I invite you to take your second photo challenge by taking one or more photos with the theme : images or staggered targets.

The fact of putting what one wants to photograph voluntarily outside the center of the image allows to let go his imagination because next to what one wants to photograph, another world appears and one can imagine a story, such as a path that appears next to what you want to photograph, might lead us to ask where does it lead? Will what I photograph take this path? Are there other ways to go outside there? ...

It also makes the image more dynamic, for example the photo of a little boy walking on a path with the path in the foreground gives an impression of movement, while if we take the same picture of the little boy standing up look at the lens at the stop will give less this impression of movement, it will make the image much more static and less conducive to the imagination where in the first picture one might wonder where is it going? Does he join someone?

We must of course pay attention to this secondary image that appears next to our offset target, indeed, it is necessary that everything remains harmonious. If you take someone or something pictured in the street, for example, and next to a trash can or something else that is not very aesthetic, it will look less pretty.
