Seredipitous Library Find

I dipped into Guildford library to find something else and found myself in the "Literature" section (I do believe you can find yourself in any section of the public library if you look hard enough!) and this jumped out at me - not literally because it's a heavy and scary-looking coffee-table book, but it also just is eye-catching because it's larger than your average tome.

I love just flipping through the visual gaze of this man - especially as the editor has added a timeline at the bottom of each page to illustrate where Sedaris has gotten to, a very brief context. He's of the "write what you want because it's for you" school but that extends to whatever your art is - you have to make yours.

That's blogging for me, but I've always longed to also make that activity more physical.
