We finally had a break in the weather and were able to continue our daily hikes through the forests around our land. There is nothing like exploring nature to clear your mind, rejuvenate your soul, and bring a peace within. When hiking with the tiny humans, I always try to make it an adventure… in one way or another. Today the mission was to see the unseen, to notice those small things that normally we might walk right by, without a second glance. The goal was to see and appreciate those beautiful things that go unnoticed most of the time.
Like the old worn and ragged tree that has witnessed so much life…
Beautiful berries hiding deep within the juniper plant…
Mist trail scattered in between the boulders...
Remnants of a life once lived...
Yarrow just waiting for spring...
Lichen dancing among the leaves...
The seed pods holding new life within...
Life flourishing, despite the harsh conditions…living, being....
I hope that this post inspires you to try to see the unseen on your next adventure.

Thank you for that walk. That was refreshing.
I have either been in the car or inside on my computer for the past two days. I really needed that little walk.
I like the way you presented it. The simplicity of it is beautiful.
I love the photos.
❤ Thank you, your support means the world to me.
Those juniper berries were such a delicious shade of blue! I loved all the photos! Excellent post!
(says she who is watching it snow in New England...)
Thank you so much! Hahah it snowed her the other day as well. We will get a beautiful day and then snow the next. I'm so ready for spring!
I loved all those pics, I'm a dumb for nature macro pics <3
Haha thank you! Don't call them Macro shots...Mark will hurt himself rolling his eyes so hard 😂
His eggcelency will never notice lol
I love to take walks with the littles to find interesting things too. You found some gems. Love the jaw bone.
Thank you! Yes, that one was my favorite. Oh I love it! I think it really teaches them to notice the small things ❤
Graet shots! The birch tree is full of Chaga mushroom, isn't it? Do you have heard about it?
I like them all, but the last picture is stunning! Thanks!
Thank you so much!! I really loved the contrast between the dark brown wood and that bright green.
I enjoyed the structure of the green, so delecate, yet exploding with life.
I agree the simplicity was beautiful, just like nature intended. You helped draw the attention to the objects and what most miss on a busy day. Nicely done!
I can’t wait for the remainder of snow to melt here, we have about 1.5 feet in the deep parts left and about 10 inches in other unpacked areas. We are seeing the signs though. More and more pussy willows are sprouting. The birds are returning, we have been hearing the wood peckers more. I even seen the first mosquito today while cleaning bunnies.
Thank you! Yes we are still dealing with snow as well..I'm hoping this is the end of the winter weather but you just never know.
Of course you can use the disclaimer!
@llfarms can I use this “All photos and content are our own. Please do not use any part of this post without our expressed permission. Thank you.”
I have had people take my stuff and put it in news letters/vlogs then not even split the pot for my work or the other creators. Very disheartening to see piracy. They make out huge on other people stuff, and the actual creator gets jack for it.
Ahhhh, I needed that refreshing walk to look at lovely things :) I love those pretty blue juniper berries! Thank you for a most timely post!!
Thank you!! ❤
Nature gives comfort
