CoVid-19 Update here in Davao City, Philippines

Hello friends,

I just want to share the current situation here in our city regarding the Covid-19 situation. So far we still don't have a big outbreak here in Davao City. But we already have a few cases coming from other cities and they are currently being held in a quarantine in SPMC hospital (Government Public Hospital).

I guess other people are really panicking because there was a case here that the 2 patients from another city, escaped from quarantine and went here in our city. Good thing that the medical staff, military personnel and police were very fast in tracking them in a hotel and putting them in quarantine. But as a result of their actions, many are thinking that they already spread the virus via the Bus they were in, the taxi they were in and especially the hotel that they checked-in.

So far, the capital of Philippines, Manila has the most cases of covid and we are very thankful that the government already put a lock down on their city.

We are hoping that the virus won't spread here in Davao City. I am really afraid for my parents and my grand mother.
