Life is Fragile
December is almost upon us and families are making plans to celebrate with friends and loved ones.
It would be great if this was done on a daily basis but sadly, in many cases life gets in the way and we are all busy, busy, busy.
Last month, I spent the day with a dear friend that came to Cape Town for a holiday and we had a wonderful time catching up.
This friend saved my life and the life of my baby years ago.
Today, she lies in hospital dying.
Trying to process this is very hard when just a few weeks ago we were together - and I never thought something like this would happen.
Life is precious and fragile and we need to remember that we should always embrace the times we have with friends and family - tell them we love them, make time to visit them - let them know that we care.
Do it now and don't procrastinate otherwise there will be regrets.
Always good to spend time with family as often as able, long distance sometimes keeps us away. Sorry to hear your friend is not well @lizziesworld

Thank you for your kind words.
You are so right @lizziesworld, I lost a childhood friend Saturday night, she died in her sleep. She was my age. So sad. Praying for you and your friend. 🙏
