Fitness journey

This has actually been going on since the 30th of April, but I feel like talking about weight is often opening a person up for a world of grief. Still, for those who may be in the same boat as me, I decided I'd put myself out there. 20180704_093238.jpg

This is the 19-pound mark! I'm really proud of myself for getting this far. Mostly, it's due to increased activity, but I'm also keeping track of calories with an app called LoseIt. I'll admit it's really tedious, but for people like me who are prone to binging, I think it's especially important.

There's also a brand new app out there called @actifit, but unfortunately I carry my phone in a purse rather than my pocket, and it doesn't want to count steps that way. But like I said, it's still brand new! So I encourage you to check it out. They incentivize you to get active via the Steem blockchain!

Yes our app is still in beta, but we will have an upcoming release which we hope will resolve a lot of tracking issues some people are reporting.
