Today I write not just as a blogger and steemian, no no no, but as a proud Yoruba Nigerian!
I'm not just proud of my heritage and lifestyle, but also of our way of life ,our respect for elders, and our.... #delicious, #scrumcious and tasty looking foods and soups.

#Today I will be talking about the well known at home and overseas, the healthy, the easy to prepare soup :#Vegetable soup /Efo riro.

You see over here food is not just something you pop in your mouth to eat and keep you energetic throughout your day.
Here, food is a passion, it's a way of life for some( a bragging right if you may), it's what makes your birthday or wedding or any party a true success !
It's what mothers eagerly await to prepare for their families every breaking of the day, as a symbol that reinforces their motherhood and feminity.

To me, cooking brings me joy, when ever I am given the kitchen alone, no monitors (mom) or begging people (my younger ones) , I go all out.

I experiment with food, I love eating it 😁,I have fun preparing it, you can say it's my first lab and my personal. Disney land, all in one. ( It's a shame I didn't join. steemit sooner, but oh well.)

So knowing all that, let's get started!!!

INGREDIENTS
-Vegetable(Amarantus)
-Pepper 🌶
-Onion (1 big full onion)
-Crayfish (about 2 spoons)

  • Fresh fish 🐠, Roasted fish or fry fish
    -Seasoning for taste
    -Locust beans(about a spoon full)
    -Red oil/palm oil

PROCEDURE
Dice up the vegetables and rinse them. Put it in a pot and steam it.

Blend the pepper and half of the onion.

Pour ten spoons of red oil in the pot and let it get hot.
Peel and cut the remaining onion and pour it in the hot oil, with a spoon full of locust beans.

After 1min pour the blended pepper and onions.

Let it fry for a bit then add the seasoning for
taste and the fish.
Let it all steam for ten minutes then add the soft vegetables and stir gently so you won't shatter the fish.

Wait for ten to fifteen minutes then drop.
Your meal is ready!

Yes that easy and that delicious. (Thank me later).
