My mom, sister, sister-in-law and myself spent some time at the beach today. My mother had a stroke last year and it's difficult for her to walk on her own, but she is one tough lady and she has always been very independent. She even refuses to use a walker to help her along, so it's very difficult to get her to allow anyone to help her walk along while holding her arm. She held my hand and that was good because I could help keep her stable as she walked. I had to pay close attention to every step she took to make sure she didn't lose her footing and I stayed near so I could catch her if there was any problem.

and so I thought I'd share a video of my 83-year-old mother singing "Because He Lives." She will be 84 next month! Not only has she always loved singing, but everyone else in the room does too...lol My sister had to remind her once that she was singing.
She still loves to sing, and she did a wonderful job. You can hear others singing along with her because everyone here joined in.
The video isn't the best quality as It was recorded on a cell phone.

Also, we aren't professional singers, which I didn't have to say because you'll know just by listening, but we all had fun.

My mother is one special lady and she is loved dearly by all thirteen of her children. God surely blessed us with such an amazing mother.
