Whats freedom and speech.
I hear so much these days that it is my freedom of speech to say or do what ever I want?
Ok but then why is it that you do not yell FIRE in a move theatres?
Ok then why is it that you do not yell BOMB in an airport?
These are only two examples of freedom of speech. Yet why is it not excepted in our society?
I am all for others expression on the concerns of others.
I have seen rioting and destruction of towns and of the people who are not for or against your cause.
When the local drug store is burned down why?
Where do the elderly and those on need of there daily medicine from?
When roiting leads to freeway blockage? Why you playing in the road. I was told from a young age if you play on the road you are going to get hit. Not to mention thise who drive for a truck for aliving miles add up to give them a pay check! Or others who need to get to airport for a flight they just missed.
I am for freedom of speech BUT when it imposes hardship on those who are with or not with your cuase then thats when a line must be drawn.
Now recently we have the kneeling while the national anthem is being played.
Well thats to many like yell FIRE OR BOMB OR BLOCKING THE ROAD WAYS why not use your freedom of speech to actually have your expression be for helping and not for tearing down theose who were for your cause or against it.
Just my thoughts and opinion on this subject.
Let me start with saying that I am not American, and my sense of patriotism is not even as close as that of most Americans I have met.
I think they are helping. They are helping their cause in a peaceful manner, which I approve. They feel that the whole nation/system has failed them and they are showing it. I do not understand why so many Americans take it as a personal insult or as an insult to all the people who have shaped the nation. They are just trying to call for attention to give it to the other black people who are treated unfairly in a day to day basis.
I hear what your saying.
Just how do you tell them not or to.
