It has been such a busy weekend and Monday that I have overlooked to post a nice movie Review that I enjoyed at home while doing my side project.

I haven't really been hitting the cinemas as I have been very thrifty with my expenses and since I have the Internet, why not fully utilise it to comb through movies streaming online?

And this came to my attention because this is actually a biography movie of one of my favourite bands: Mercy Me.

As I busily listen to the conversations from the movie while taking my time focusing at every cut, I realise one really crucial point.

Victorious outcome from the ruts of trials in life often is one of the strongest testimonies one can ever share to inspire others.

Mercy Me lead singer Bart Millart truly went through such a hard time in his life that honestly if it was not for God pulling him through with all His teachings, and His miraculous change for Bart's father, he might end up as another statistics of successful (on the outside but rotten on the inside) artist that ended up in the suicide list.

I cannot relate of an abusive father but I have a friend and a good brother in Christ who experienced that. Had not his mom never giving up on him and prayed for him, he wouldn't be able to stand tall, a happy junior church teacher, experiencing new love in relationships and taking on the marketplace of his sector like storm.

And honestly, I do have to agree it started with the seed of the Word of God that has been planted into these men at an early childhood stage (whether they like it or realise it) has got them rooted in the right way in life; even if it might have some diverted turns, bumpy roads, ditches, and blocks that might delay reaching the right destination in life.

In Proverbs 22 it truly has stated something important from the once wise King Solomon

Train up a child in the way he shohld go, and even when he is old he will not depart from it.

True though sometimes we might unintentionally forget the ways and the teachings of the Lord, but ultimately if we are not overly drowned in self-consumed distractions we will eventually snap out of it.

And for Bart, thus took a great turn for him and his father.

Another crucial thing that I noticed in this movie that has shown

Our parents, those who tried their best to take care of us even with the wrong ways at times; they do take notice of our well being.

In this movie Bart's father no doubt was an abuser, but he took notice of his son. Even when Bart didn't know, he was listening and watching from a distance.

Which brings back to a crucial point.

Whatever we are do it, someone is watching us.

You may never know your good deeds, your stand firm ground on justice and morale, your kindness, even your voice, your speech, could help someone to heal along the way.

This is such a mindful reminder especially for leaders and heads of states. Heck, any single non hermit individual who has a regular basis connecting with people / out in the public, at work, at play, are potential key players of a good role model. Of course, with that in mind one must not be boastful and proud because whenever this happens, something really bad will backfire back at him/her.

Although this turned out to be just an inspirational movie especially for bands and song writers, but morally there is just so much to learn from.

So if you have time to check out this movie, by all means go for it.

Although my weekend has been preoccupied with nothing but a lot of matcha latte, movie marathon, a blade and plenty of paper cuttings, I still did not forget when Monday came I must resume what I have started.

That's right my friends, I did not forget. On Monday at the gym I resumed my planking challenge.

Although I must say all the CNY weight is really slowing me down haha. Time for intermittent fast again.
