After test your DNA, suddenly you know that inside your body there has the existence of two people, Or the DNA set of your body has never been born in this world, will it be believable to you?

But believe that, this kind of thing is possible and it has been found to be evidence of various events in the world. The name of this condition is called Chimerism and the people that have two different sets of DNA are called human called Chimera or Chimerism.

In the ancient Greek mythology, there is a mention of a kind of creature named Chimera, which has a head and neck like a lion, backrests like a goat, another head and a tail is like a snake. That is, the existence of several organisms in the body of a creature, from this point of view it has been named as a complex physical condition.

According to science, when there is a set of two separate genes in between a distinct organism, that condition is called Chimerism. One of the cells of a Chimera's body is not her own, but this cell is their brother's/sister's, who has never been born in the world!

Different Types of Chimerism

Twin Chimerism

American Scientific explains that when a pregnant women is carrying fraternal twins, one of the embryos might die very early in the pregnancy. Then, the other embryo can absorb some cells from the deceased one. The resulting baby ends up with two sets of DNA.

Tetragamatic Chimerism

In a pregnant woman, an ovum is usually impregnated by a sperm and then zygote is formed. In this case, when two sperm impregnates by two ovaries, then they are formed in a single embryo, and such then the conditions formed. The resulting in the new born's baby's body, two sets of DNA are found.

Micro Chimerism

A pregnant woman may absorb some cells in her embryo during pregnancy, or contrarily, the embryo may absorb some cells of the mother's womb. Through the blood of a mother or child, these cells reach the other organs and stay there permanently.

Artificial Chimerism

The blood transfusion, stem cell replacement or through the bone marrow transplantation some cells can go from one person's body to another person body. As a result, two sets of DNA are seen in any person body. However, due to the advancement of medical science, such incidents are rarely seen. In Artificial Chimerism two types of DNA sets in the blood are found. But other physical features are not observed in Artificial Chimerism.

Feature of Chimerism

People with Chimerism may be visibly different types. All Chimerism people don't have the same type of feature. Various features can be noticed in the Chimerism people.

• When the entire body covers a small part Or in about half the parts of the body, the body is darker than the rest of the body it called Hyperpigmentation and when the body is the light color it called Hypopigmentation.

• They may have one brown eye and one blue.

• They may have one hitchhiker’s thumb and one straight one.

• There are two types of DNA set in the blood.

• Two types of the immune system work together on the body.

The effect of Chimerism

• Bisexualism can be seen in the effect of Chimerismand there is a risk of reproduction.

• In the case of Twin Chimera various types of autoimmune diseases can be seen.

• With different types of depression also psychological problems may be appear.

Some famous incident

Karen Keegan

In 1998 a woman named Karen Keegan for her kidney transplantation tested her two sons. In the succession, both of the children get DNA from their parents, but both of her children did not match any of their DNA codes, which proves that they are not children of Karen Keegan. Boston doctors then run a number of researches. They examined the cells of various parts of Karen's body. Eventually, thyroid cells in Karen's whole body completely different DNA sets are observed, which matches his boys. After this incident, Karen knows that he was originally a Chimera. In a sense, it was proved that Karen was a Chimera and he himself had his own twins.

Taylor Muhl

The biggest physical feature of being a Chimera is in the American model and singer Taylor Muhl. A stain on the middle of his body divided his body into two colors. Initially, he knew that it was her Birth mark. Before his adolescence, he often became ill. He got almost all positive tests in 150 allergy tests. Finally, a doctor declared him as a Chimera. Two immune systems works together in his body. Taylor told at different times that since childhood, he had a sense of belonging that another entity lives inside him.

Lydia Fairchild

In 2002, the phenomenon of Lydia Fairchild was the most striking. During the separation from her husband, she appealed to the court for her child support. This application is done by a normal procedure of DNA test. The report shows that his DNA does not match with any of his two children! Naturally, for the sake of selfishness in the court, she become convicted as a fraud mom. His lawyer requested the court to delay the decision, as long as Lydia's third child was not born. A witness in the court be present that time, when Lydia will give birth to a third child, the court granted the application on this condition. When the third child was born and Lidiya's DNA not matched with her. At this time, his lawyer thought, Lydia is might be a possibility of being a Chimera. At the court order, they again test Lydia's DNA and another set of DNA was found in Lydia's body. Those same DNA sets are found in Lydia's mother's body. After that it proves that Lydia is a Chimera. Then Lydia was acquitted and her children were also returned to her.

It is possible to ensure that a people is a Chimera or not, through blood and DNA tests. This type of incident has been found in about an Hundred in this world and there are 30 incidents written in it. Previously it was thought that the Chimerism is very rare. But now, with many experiments and researchers think that the existence of the patient in Chimera is much more than the concept of the earth. In many cases, there are no signs of physical activity, so people can not know about this in their lifespan. After various blood and DNA tests, people have come to know that they are actually Chimera.

It is not possible to eradicate this condition from a human body.However, according to researchers, the person gives full idea about his condition and various symptoms continuing with regular medical treatment, then the life of a person will be easier.
