The inventor of the smallest unit of life by Antonie van Leeuwenhoek
Hello guys how are you all? Today I'm gonna tell you about Antonie van Leeuwenhoek. He was very well versed in three branches of science, physics, biology, and science. He contributed to the development of chemistry, architecture, and map. He is also known as a 'Renaissanman'. He is the person who first discovered the cell and opened the door of the microbiology. One of the most important and influential books in the history of science, 'Micrographia' is written in his hand. Early Life
Robert Hook was born on 24 October 1632 in the small city of Delft in the Dutch Republic. His father's name Philips Antonisz van Leeuwenhoek and he was a basket maker and her mother Margaretha (Bel van den Berch) was a beer brewer. Among the four siblings, Antonie was the smallest and very weak. He spent most of her school-life at home for this weakness.
When Antonie was just five years old, he lost her father. After his father's death, the share of his property, he became the owner of Simplicity 40 pounds. At that time it was fairly good money. Then her mother gets remarried, also her step-father loves him very much. Antonie's was an uncle and he was an lawyer, her uncle loved him very much. Sometime Antonie spent her leisure time with her uncle. Her uncle helped her to achieve primary education and basic literacy. When Antonie was 16, her step-father got died.
Antonie did not know any language other than Dutch, so he could not expect to go to university because to get admission in any university.
Business Career
In 1648, Antonie decided to move the famous Dutch trading city of Amsterdam. In Dutch trading city, he started to work in a textile shop. In this shop, he learned how to trade well. When he learned trading well, he selected for the trusted position of cashier and book-keeper in this shop.
In 1654 Antonie came back to Delft city and get married to Margaretha Bel van den Berch. That was a significant year for Antonie Leeuwenhoek. After then he starts his business with her own experience and that was a textile shop. Not only clothes, but he also used to sell buttons, ribbons and other valuable accessories. After a few years, he became a potential figure in Delft city. Then he got appointed to manage the operations of Delft’s council meeting hall. Just before he started his scientific work, At the age of 40 in her business life, he became a qualified land surveyor.
Hook in the watch development
In 1657, Robert Hook made an advanced model of pendulum watch. He used the special type of Angkor for made of watch pendulum. For using that, the time calculated is finer. This makes it possible to calculate time accurately. After that, Hook made a balance spring for the watch to countdown the time perfectly and this balance spring was almost perfect for a watch. Because this balance spring works like a wall watch pendulum. Hook adds it to the clock wheel in such a way that the spring would make regular oscillation and the wheel of the time would have to function properly.
Hook in the Royal Society
I think we must hear about Boyle's formula. When the scientist Boyle was researching for the discovery of this formula, the hook was his main associate. Originally, most of the equipment needed for Booleel's research was made by hooks. Hook worked well for almost seven years in the laboratory of the Boil.

In 1662, Robert Hook was appointed as a Curator of Research in the Royal Society, two years ago in London. Boyle's contribution to this appointment was behind him. A curator is the head of all the research conducted in the organization. Hook made the most important inventions of his life when working here. In the Royal Society, he was appointed Curator for nearly 40 years.
Hook microscope
He did not invent the microscope, however, he guided the modern microscope. He created a complex microscope with a screw-driven focusing instrument for the convenience of his research. His specimen could be easily focused on any of these devices. In the previous microscope, the specimen had to be moved to focus on the sample. Later, he introduced a type of water lens to illuminate the specimen, where oil lamp lights on one side brightened the specimen.

The scientific book in science history, which is called the bestseller, is Robert Hook's 'Micrographia'. When Hook was the age of 30, he published this book in 1665, was shocked by the scientists. It is understood only after the publication of this book that he is a fine painter from different branches of science. Then Hook started observing with its own microscope. He brought out an invisible world of the human and undiscovered the new world diagram for everyone. But the new world was so unfamiliar that people could not believe that they were in realistic or imagined.
Hook's Micrographia is one of the best science books in history. Hooke first proves that there is another great world that is unseen in the world. The science of microbiology, quantitative physics, and nanotechnology has helped people to think and make it possible!
Discovering the hook plant cells
Although the credit for observing microscopic organisms is given to Liuen Hooke, at first Robert Huci observed the microscopic organism. But he did not realize that he saw the invisible creatures like the first person in the world. Regardless, Robert Hook continued his research. He observed a piece of oak tree, or salve, under his complex microscope, and saw incredible things. He looks like an empty eye, with a microscope, it looks image source completely different. The smallest unit of life, which we call today as a cell. Seeing numerous small blocks caught in the microscope, Hook remembers the small chamber of the monastery, which was once known as the cell. Hook also worked on paleontology or biology section. He observed ancient cells on different fossils and came to the conclusion that the fossils were once alive and they were turned into mineral in later times. Unfortunately, his revolutionary words were not accepted by the science society at that time. From the observation of the hook, he further informed that there were many creatures in the ancient world that had been extinct. The word seems simple enough because we all know that many creatures have disappeared and many animals are on the way to extinction. But at the time of Hook's topic, the importance of this talk was not infinite.

When he was known as a scientist, he also got his hands on architecture. He certainly designed the house-house with the joy of his heart. But people loved them very much. The city of London was a devastating fire in 1666, which we know in history as The Great Fire of London. In the fire, most of London's buildings and buildings are destroyed or less-consumed. It is astonishing to know that most of the designs of 'reducing half-scientist and half-architect' Robert Hook have been formulated for the reconstruction of those eroded and destroyed buildings. His popularity as an architect gives him the chance to become a London City Surveyor. He did more than what he had earned as a scientist, with this architecture!
We don't know whether the images we find on the Internet of Antonie Hook are actually correct or not. Because when he was alive, no painter painted his picture. Or when they painted, they were not saved. Controversy about whether we can see the actual hook through later painted pictures. On the other hand, the old age of the hook is cut through the debate. With the different disciplines of various scientists, the most familiar in those disputes is that of Newton. His accusation was that Newton used hook theory in his gravitational form but did not accept it! Robert Hook died in his birthplace in London at the age of 67. The date was 3 March 1703. Today 300 years after his death, we remember him respectfully.
