Heat Crystal Attack in The Middle of The Night

This is what I can present to all of my friends, I imagine something that will fall and can hit very hard. what would happen if the object were crystals that had thermal power that fell from the sky and hit part of the earth.

But this is just a fiction that comes to my mind only. but if it does happen, are we ready to face it by warding off the attack.
