What is Voting Mana & resource credit &how it calculate resource in HF20?

Voting mana is the same as voting power. There has been no change on how the voting algorithm calculates your vote weight. So, Voting Power = Voting Mana.
Resource credits is the replacement of Bandwidth. Before hardfork 20, Steem had a bandwidth system which determined how much resources are allocated to specific Steem accounts.
This system has been changed to resource credits. The previous system allowed people to post a lot of posts. Some people exploited it and made bots to post a horde of spam. The resource credit system was added to prevent high level spam on the blockchain.
It limits how much you can post in a certain period of time. You can check how much resource credit your account has by visiting steemd.com/@yourusername. For example, if I want to see my resource credit allocation, I visit https://steemd.com/@littleboy. You can see my resource credit allocation in the top left below the voting power bar.
I want to know complete explanation of resource credit. I mean how it can be increased or decreased. And whats the impact.
I am new here so i can't understand what does any value of it mean.
