PEACOCK

(peacock) one of the most wonderful birds in the world . there are three types of peafowls in the world – Indian peafowl or blue peafowl originally of India , the Congo peafowl of Congo Basin and the green peafowl of Indochina,Myanmar and can found in the tropical forests of Southeast Asia ; and One African species.

Indian peafowl or blue peafowl

blue peafowl or the Indian peafowl a large and brightly Colored bird,The male measures 100 to 115 cm from bill to tail and weigh 4–6 kg .The females at around 95 cm in length and weigh 2.75–4 kg.

the Congo peafowl

Congo peafowl known as the mbulu, Congo peafowl native to Africa ,The male measures 64–70 cm in length, the males has an elaborate array of colours.The female measures 60–63 cm in length.the females are brown with emerald-green upperparts.

the green peafowl

the green peafowl is a forest bird laying 3 to 6 eggs.The males at around 1.8–3 m in length.The females at around 1–1.1 m in length.
