The Golden Key (Original Poem)

Beneath the tangled maze
Lies the benevolent fool
Sitting on a stack of folly
That has mastered him for the length of his life
Angles of difficulty are hidden in plain sight
For all to see, but only the wise
Have been given the golden key
To unlock the secret of wisdom
Seekers fiddling with peril
In a desperate search for the key
As life in a rhythmic dance goes on
In imitation of the seasonally change
Where the birds sermon nature’s call
Adorning the land with weather prepared
In support of earth’s gestation period
Opening up blooming blossoms
Harnessed in by a lure of beauty
Camouflaged by a sense of stillness
As a search for meaning turns to confusion
Stillness stirs up old wounds of longing
Desperation ensues as grief engulfs longing
Foots steps arched on route home
Journeying with soul for company
The golden key is found, washing away in the sail of the tears
