Knowledge is like a cage fighter( poem)

Knowledge is like a cage fighter
Who attempts to balance in frenzy of his sweat
For he knows the unpredictable nature of what he is facing
And the limitations of his peripheral vision
In uninspired perspiration he drenches his clothes

And yet the ego feeds more on the heat

Urging him to advance and attack
That which is a caged aspect of himself
Chained for entertainment's parade
Roaring all different flavoured freedom calls
But who bothers when you are having a good laugh!
