Actifit Report 30 Aug - Work Conversations.

This is for my steps tracked on 30 Aug, but there was a glitch that prevented me posting. Hopefully, the Actifit team will find the cause, in the meantime, I’ll post manually. I wanted to make sure I didn’t miss a day for now. The screenshots of my tracker at the bottom.
So it was a busy day, I started a little behind and spent most of it catching up. It was past 9PM and I was less than 4K. I could have honesty called it an early night and steemit until I fell asleep.
Instead, I wrote parts of this on the cross trainer/elliptical. So that’s me multitasking; I’m working on my actifit steps 15k target.
So what made me laugh today...
The two young ladies I sit with and have mentioned previously are so much fun. Especially since I discovered they both enjoy the steamier romance novels. I love women who aren’t afraid to admit that they love ‘naughty’ books. It’s good to have a chuckle about it with readers who get it. Today, I wanted to clarify the steam level of the books they preferred. I read across all sub-genres, so when I encounter a reader of romance, I need to clarify before I make recommendations. It would seem one of the very organized and sensible ladies was into 80s bodice ripper romances. So that sparked more laughter.
What made me thoughtful...
There’s this lady at work I like to call ‘The Doll Lady’. I’m terrible with names. If I don’t say or see your name at least once a day, you can guarantee I’d have forgotten it. Anyway, we bumped into each other and she told me she was going to take a picture of her dolls for me. She has a pink room that is for displaying her doll collection. Today, she surprised me by offering to let me take a doll home for my girls to play with. I’d never want to do that! My daughters would damage them. After more conversation, she said, “Well, I’ve come to accept I won’t be having children. It’s just not going to happen. I’ve been thinking about all the things I own that can be enjoyed by other people’s children.”
I’m quite fascinated by this lady and I’ve always enjoyed her quirky energy when we talked. This conversation had me thinking I should make more of an effort to befriend her. We’re just both so busy.

Awww, 'The Doll Lady' is very sweet to think of sharing her prized possessions with other people's kids. I remember watching on tv a celebrity guy who loved collecting collectible action figurines. A friend came over with a kid and he let the kid play with them to show he could let them go. Mind you, the kid is only a 2.5yo. One of the figurines broke and you could see the figurine owner's heart break through his eyes.
You are so going to read my ‘naughty’ stuff once I get it down on paper. 🤣
Yeah, the Doll lady is very sweet. We’re all children at heart. None of us would want our most treasured toys broken. When will I see you more? Where’s your posts? I’m getting my insect quota from everyone else!
Always so good to see you drop in. Give soju a treat for me, I might have to ask her to check out mum’s dirty ‘urban fantasy’ books and see if she can find some old copies of those ‘lost’ porny fanfic reads. We both know how resource that kitty is. Yes, be scared. Be very scared!

lol, glad to hear you are still getting your regular dose of insect posts. I'm out of bugs and I'm too scared to catch them myself. My friend said there will be plenty of bugs when summer comes along. She suggest we go for a group picnic and people can help me catch bugs. 😁 Though I have to remember to inspect them earlier before they go black.
Honestly, I've been so lazy with my posts. I was sort of thinking of making a post on how to make ox bone soup and handmade noodles when I was making them last week. But after the first photo I had taken, I forgot to record the rest. The cold weather doesn't help, it just makes you want to hibernate. But I'm glad to see you have been active lately. The only exercise I've been doing is chasing Soju. We like to play tag and hide&seek. 😸

Im proud of u for hitting the elliptical so late, not many people would do that, so high five on that.. Unfortunately it still wasn't enough to beat me 😉 better luck tomorrow, or today i guess depending on when u read this lol..

LoL understandable, I'm taking a lazy day too because it was 80 degrees F this morning at 7am so my walk got cut short cuz my dog was panting extremely hard and i felt bad and it was to damn hot to take a run! Soooo this might be a good day to beat me if u can kick ur laziness 😉 Im only at 10k right now and I can't imagine Ill make 15k!
