My plans for turning 2 hours per week writing Steemit articles to $15,600 in 1 year- super part time!

I think its entirely reasonable for a Noob Steemian to make $30 per week writing a few blog articles in their free time.

As you gain steem power on the platform , or post better articles this is bound to increase

$30 per week doesn't seem like all that much, but we aren't taking the future value of Steem into account.

Right now Steem dollars are worth roughly $2 a piece.

So writing part time, I'm not really making all that much. Probably a better per hour rate than most part time jobs, especially when you take into account commute times and taxes.

But when you consider the future value of steem, your efforts could turn out to be worth much, much more.

Let's say you make $15 per hour writing steem articles
You write 2 hours per week - and make about $30

I would say that in 1 year the price of Steem could be above $10 per share- I'm sure folks like Jerry Banfield would agree that this is not a huge stretch at all.

Ok, so now my efforts are worth 5 times as much - my $30 per week now becomes $150 per week in future dollars.
My 2 hours per week will be worth $7800 at the end of 1 year if this is true

If steem went to $20 it would be worth $15,600

Of course, nobody has a crystal ball and we don't know what future Steem dollars will be worth. But, a whole lot of people are projecting Steem to be worth much much more. So even if these numbers are higher or lower than my predictions, it's safe to say that Steeming 2 hours per week consistently is worth your time and efforts. You may be really surprised at how much you will have saved for the future.

How many part time jobs can do that?
