Chicken Pesto Pasta

Going to Sudo Brew at night after work has its ups and downs. Pros – I get to sit out the rush hour while enjoying a cup of coffee, fast wifi and delicious food; Cons – I can’t leave the café until about 8:00pm and by then, my friends would have already gathered at Sudo Brew for our nightly “hangout sessions”. I ordered my dinner at Sudo Brew – the Chicken Pesto.

The Chicken Pesto pasta is offered in two sizes – Small and Big. The ingredients for both portion sizes remain the same; the quantity and price are the only differences. The ingredients in this dish are simple – Spaghetti, homemade pesto sauce, grilled chicken and parmesan cheese. The small portion (as shown in the picture) costs RM12 whereas the larger portion costs RM16. If you’re hungry, I recommend ordering the small portion and then the chicken tenders or a bowl of fruits (a healthy and balanced diet is always the better choice). This is because although the food is good, the dish could turn up dry when served.

Fortunately, Sudo Brew’s kitchen hours are till 3:00am, so supper isn’t a problem at all. The management extended the kitchen operation hours from 1:30am to 3:00am instead due to high demand in food past 1:00am. Most of the customers are university students, flocking to Sudo Brew at night to complete last minute assignments; and when students pull all-nighters, they are bound to get hungry.
