...so I listened to a conversation between two ladies inside a beautiful tricycle that was producing good music from its home theatre. One of the ladies was emphasizing on sex and relationship throughout the conversation and the other was concurring and contributing.

It was a nice conversation until she got to a point where she defamed a person because of what she is equally guilty of, but maybe applying it in a different way.

She said that a certain lady has been sleeping around with different men whereas she wasn't in any serious relationship with a man. She termed her behaviour better simply because she was in a relationship and had been in sexual relationships with men she could term as exes.

She stressed that immediately a man no longer served a functional role in her life, emotionally and otherwise, she could no longer remain there. She just had to quit.

The problem in judging others lie when you try to justify your actions even when you feel guilty of it. So, in most cases, it is better not to be quick in judging others.

Don't pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults - unless, of course, you want the same treatment. - Matthew 7:1

The idea of being in several sexual affairs with different people but under the universally accepted and respected umbrella termed "relationship" is not different from someone else who doesn't want to downplay his or her feelings but plays the same game.

Sexual immorality still remains a sin whether it's done with one person or thousands of people. It is explicitly written in the Bible that sex outside marriage is a sin so when someone tells me of how promiscuous another person is, I'm always forced to ask if the person reporting the issue has engaged in a sexual affair before.

I'm in no way trying to support those who are in the habit of sleeping with several people, it reduces integrity and respect but in totality, I feel anyone who has engaged in sexual activities outside marriage should just ask God for forgiveness and not act all righteous or better still, get married and stay true to one man or woman because I can't find where sexual immorality is categorized in the Bible or where sex with one person outside marriage is called a minor sin and the other committed with several people, termed a major sin. Sin is sin!! These things are the same, it depends on the application and the umbrella a person is staying to commit it.

So when next you try to criticize someone, think deeply if you've committed the same offence so you don't get to commit the sin of sexual immorality and judging others.
