🐺 What do we know about cats?

The cat is a mammal of the family of the feline carnivorous order-apparently the most cunning kind of domestic animals on the planet: they did not even have to be domesticated, because at one time they did it themselves.

The sound of "meow" was intended by nature to allow little kittens to call their mother. Growing up, the kittens have to stop to use it. Adult wild cats, living in a natural habitat, do not meow ever.

In the process of domestication, cats have come to the conclusion that their infantile "meow" is most effective on their owners: the sound sounds quite pitiful and loud enough. Meowing has become a universal way of communication between adult cats and humans. Communicating with each other, cats do not meow.

Many cat owners probably dream of at least a day to find yourself in the skin of your pet to look at the world through his eyes. Although the bodies of cats according to the structure is largely similar to human, in the evolution of cats eyes have adapted to the specific conditions, so the cat has its own specifics.

Representatives of the cat family have learned to navigate well in low light and responsive to the slightest movement, but for this they had to sacrifice the subtleties of color perception and some other features.

And yet, cats are connected to people much more strongly than any other Pets. They are able not only to bring joy to their owners, but also to manipulate them.
