Dicenter is a broken heart
Broken heart - this name got this plant because of the shape of the flower.
The botanical name of this beauty is the Dicenter.
Dicenter (broken heart) - perennial, herbaceous, rod-root plant.
This flower is universal. It can be planted in solitary plantings, in floral arrangements and even create from it floral hedges.
Sorts and colors dinets are very many and they all have different periods of flowering.
But since the varieties of a broken heart belong to the same species of Dicentra, the care and landing for all are the same.
• Landing centers
Dicenter is a very fragile plant, so with all parts you need to handle cautiously.
• The root is fleshy, with a loose structure and a lot of sleeping buds, which leads to almost 100% plant survival. Even a small part of the spine can give shoots and bloom already in the first year of planting.
• The Dicenter likes loose, well-fertilized soils. It can grow on sand, but it will not give out a powerful bush and beautiful flowering. On clayey and heavily soaked soils, it can grow only in the dry period.
• It is better to land the dicenters in the early spring. She well tolerates the division of the bush and perfectly takes root even with the presence of peduncles.
• For a broken heart, it is better to immediately identify a permanent place and preferably plant other large perennials - irises, daylilies, lilies, geyher - near the plant. The dicentra after flowering very quickly leaves to rest, the leaves turn yellow and by the middle of June there is no trace of a beautiful bush. But the landing site should further please the eye, besides there is a hope that you will not lose the place where the dicenter grew and when weeding, do not damage the fragile roots of the plant.
• Care for the center
• Like all living things, the dicentre likes watering, but do not flood the plant.
• If the flower grows on rich soil, then do not constantly feed it. Overdose of fertilizers badly affects the root system.
• For the supply of nutrients, the plant suffices that it will accumulate over the vegetative period in the green mass of the bush. Therefore, after the dicenter fades, you do not need to immediately remove the bush. It is desirable to wait for its full yellowing and wilting. Thus, all the nutrients will go to the rhizomes.
• Pay special attention to the soil around the bush dentsentry. It must be constantly friable and moisture-permeable. When weeding, be careful not to damage the branches with the peduncles.
And most importantly, I always want to note - love flowers and they will surely give you the beauty of flowering and good mood.
For flower growers, I would like to note the elegant Dicentre. This is the record holder for the longitude of flowering. Although this species does not have such a tall bush, but above its openwork foliage, flower stalks with hearts that bloom for more than three months rise.
