My Actifit Report Card: June 27 2021

My son and I played a round of eighteen hole disc golf today out at the course in Erie Colorado. There were a lot of people playing there today and it was a bit more windy than last time.

I lost my main fairway driver near the beginning of the round but got it back at the end. I knew where it landed but didn't want to go all the way around the ditch to get it. By the time we had worked our way to it, it was gone. I checked my phone and had a text message with a picture of it. The guy who found it was really nice and gave it back.

My son lost one in the irrigation ditch one hole two and we looked for a long time for it but could not find it. He nearly lost a couple of other discs but one we found in the tall grass and the other somebody was fishing around in the ditch and recovered it. We were happy to get it back without getting wet.

I found two discs while I was looking for my son's throws. One I got back to the owner and the other had no name on it. It is a beginner disc at 148 grams. It is almost brand new and still stable enough to be useful for some approach throws.

A lot of people were having difficulties losing discs today.
