My Actifit Report Card: February 20 2019
I was fairly active today and played a round of disc golf scoring two over par on an easy 9 hole course. I rode my bike for a few miles putting the fit bit in my pocket to count steps and walked the dog.
Yesterday I was cleaning up a bit and added three newly acquired crystal rocks to my collection.
Here's a picture of some of them - can you guess which are the new crystals?
My side is feeling pretty good now and my throwing arm is feeling rested. My feet are feeling pretty good too inspite of the fact that my shoes are a bit too small.
As it turns out I ordered a half size too small on a shoes that run narrow. (It had been a long time since I got new shoes and I kind of forgot my size and couldn't hardly read it off the old pair) I decieded to order a new pair of shoes so that I can alternate them a bit and not aggravate my feet by wearing small shoes all the time.
I think it does pay to get good shoes in particular if your trying to keep comfortable and injury free when active.

Thank you and thanks for stopping by. I've been a rock hound since I was very young. I was always trying to talk my parents into stopping at every rock shop I saw along the highway. I still have many of the rocks I collected long ago but I've reduced my collection to just the ones that I like the most.

I didn't know they had alot of rock shops along the highway but I'm sure it depends on where the highway is, I guess I don't know where your location is!
The name came from watching my son splash around in puddles without a care when he was young and the effect of showing light in 3D graphics.
Oh, I think many of the rock shops probably are out of business. There used to be a lot more smaller specialty shops around some of the desert South West areas. I haven't traveled through many of the smaller highways there recently though. Currently I'm up in the Pacific Northwest.
Howdy tonight lightsplasher! Oh I see, how interesting. I was just reading a post about a trip through Washington state, is that your state? I understand if you don't care to answer. Most people give every detail of their lives and then people like me don't do that. lol.

Great stepping 10k and a pair of good running shoes that fits would definitely relieve foot discomfort. Those are beautiful crystal of rocks. I think the big light green gives off that crystal effects; not so sure. Wishing you a wonderful lovely weekend ahead 🙌👍😀

You are really doing awesome Sir @lightsplasher with your Disk Golfing and your steps with fitbit and actifit. It will indeed make you feel better because of increased atamina and well-being, it will improve your sleep and eating too :D
Please do wear some comfortable shoes because it will make you more secure with your feet during runs and walks and biking. I love your rock and crystal collection they do make a good display at home.

You bought a new shoe that is good at least for now you will be feeling more comfortable when you walk since the shoe is perfectly your size. And as for the crystal it seems one of them is an emerald crystal and the other one is a large quartz . Your actifit tracker result is really impressive as well @lightsplasher
There is a clear quartz rock but no emerald crystal. (I think emeralds would be out of my price range.) Most of the the new ones I collected are towards the front. I think their names would be difficult to guess unless you were familiar with rocks and crystals.
I guess my day was really bored and feel with sleep
