The Petersen is 100,000 square feet and showcases over 300 cars at the one of the worlds largest automotive museums in the world. It really is a tribute to car culture and that's exactly what you get, Hollywood style. Cars for the past 100 years have been important to our culture, it really is about freedom and freedom of expression.

Since I saw my first Cheech and Chong movie I have always loved low riders. The Petersen has a low rider exhibit at the moment so I went with my friend, Ziggy, to check it out. I'll dive into more details through images...

I was expecting a lot more low riders, but what was in the exhibit truly showcased SoCal low rider culture. I dig the whimsical flames. This rider was a tribute to hamburgers. Chili flames are the shit.

I'll return to the low riders in a moment. But I wanted to talk more about the museum. You start on the 3rd floor and work your way down. There's a massive collection of extremely rare cars: many concept cars from the 1940's through today. An amazing collection of Porsche and Ferrari.
