Delicious Stew
Traditionally, during the "Surva" festival one could taste a lot of local and national cuisine dishes, prepared right in front of the eyes in a colorful way :)
What you see in that photo is a moment from the cooking of the famous Bulgarian bean stew, the hand of the cook using a huge wooden spoon. It was virtually impossible to resist the aroma and not fell into temptation, LMAO :)
"Surva" is an International Festival of the Masquerade Games, annually held in Pernik, close to the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia.
The colorful and spectacular folklore Balkan and Bulgarian traditions with performers known as Kukeri and Survakari are represented at this glorious winter event. With thousands of participants, the joy and fun are guaranteed ;)
